Jeffrey Grass, MD, is a radiation oncologist who specializes in prostate cancer, breast cancer, and lung cancer. His areas of special interest include technological advancements that can improve the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and he is an expert in the use of CyberKnife for prostate cancer. “With advancements in imaging and computer technology, we recognize the extent of disease more accurately than in the past. In terms of treatment, we administer treatments with pinpoint accuracy, typically resulting in fewer treatments, minimal side effects and better outcomes for many patients,” he said.
Adding to his expertise in radiation therapy, Dr. Grass always makes sure his patients fully understand their diagnosis and treatment options so they can be a part of the planning. “I believe when we include patients and their families in the decision-making process, we’re reducing anxiety because they understand the situation and what the care plan is.”
