OHC and Patient Power host a free, community event for CLL patients and their care partners in Cincinnati, Ohio
On Saturday, July 27, Patient Power, an organization devoted to empowering cancer patients through information, will be hosting a free community event in Cincinnati, Ohio for chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) patients.
The panelists will include community experts from OHC (Oncology Hematology Care), Dayton Physicians Network, and Columbia University Medical Center in New York. They will discuss the latest testing and treatments and how to talk to their providers about accessing the right treatment at the right time. The program will also include a group of CLL patients and care partners to share their experiences for others to learn. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions to the panelists and meet others living with CLL.
This educational community event is for patients and care partners, and is produced in partnership with OHC (Oncology Hematology Care) and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Patient Power host and CLL patient advocate, Jeff Folloder, will host the program. Noted CLL experts, mentor patients and health professionals will also join this panel, including OHC’s Edward A. Faber, Jr., DO, MS, Medical Oncologist, Hematologist, and Blood and Marrow Transplant Specialist.
