From Ajit Gubbi, DO, Noted Gynecologic Oncologist

September 6, 2018

Nelson Mandela said education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. This is especially true when it comes to cancer. The more we know about cancer and how lifestyle choices affect our risk of getting it, the better our chances of preventing it. That’s why the doctors at OHC are committed to providing educational opportunities about cancer prevention.

Our next opportunity will be Thursday, September 27 when I join my colleagues from Seven Hills Women’s Health Centers to present, “Ladies Night Out: Sips, Dips & Tips on GYN Cancer Prevention!” at The Anderson Center, 7850 Five Mile Road, Cincinnati 45230. The purpose of this event is to create an enjoyable atmosphere where women can relax and have fun while learning how to prevent cancers of the female organs. This includes cervical, ovarian, uterine and other cancers.

We’ll be sharing information on a number of things women can do right now to lower their risk for not only gynecologic cancers, but any type of cancer.

Medical experts joining me at Ladies’ Night Out include Gretchen M. Fermann, MD, who is an obstetrician and gynecologist with Seven Hills Women’s Health Centers, and Tara Crabtree, APRN, WHNP, MSN, who is a nurse practitioner also with Seven Hills Women’s Health Centers.

The event begins at 5 p.m. with refreshments, mini massages, mini manicures, and shopping, followed by the discussion at 6 p.m. Seating is limited so get your tickets today at https://goo.gl/bFzfc3 or call OHC at 513-751-2145. I hope to see you there!
