Gynecologic Oncologist at OHC
Cincinnati, Oct 9, 2017 — OHC, the region’s premier source of treatment for nearly every form of adult cancer and complex blood disorder, is pleased to welcome Ajit Gubbi, D.O., gynecologic oncologist.
Dr. Gubbi received his medical degree at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed a residency at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in New York, and a fellowship at Florida Hospital Cancer Institute.
It was during his gynecologic oncology fellowship that he discovered a passion to work with cancer patients.
“When I was first exposed to gynecologic oncology, I saw this as the pinnacle of my profession,” explained Dr. Gubbi. “It was mastery in surgery, mastery in oncology and mastery in the understanding of physiology. More than that, it was mastery in the caring of and compassion for patients at a time in their life when others may not be able to provide that level of care. I strive to offer the latest and most effective diagnosis, treatment and support for gynecologic malignancies backed by major advances in medical research and breakthroughs in detection and prevention.”
Dr. Gubbi is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and board eligible in gynecologic oncology. He is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
